And when we do these quarterly reviews every quarter, nine times out of ten, all the guys are having the best quarter they've ever had, across the board. And it just gets better and better and better. The energy that exists within the group when they're saying, "Oh my God, I've just had the best year of my life. Last year I said that, this year I'm saying that." The inspiration and the energy are just incredible. It's rare. It's incredibly rare.

Tim Matthews 0:43
Hey guys, welcome to another episode of The Powerful Man Show. I'm your host, Tim Matthews, with two amazing guests, Magoo and The Gift. You guys have got to start some kind of skit, "Magoo and The Gift."

So, I'd like to talk about the Inner Circle because, as you know, we don't really talk much about the Inner Circle. There's a lot of mystique around it, which is fine by me. At the same time, I've got to imagine if I'm a guy listening to this, I'm going to want to know how the movement can really help me.

We talk a lot about The Activation Method, which is great. That helps guys fix their marriage without having to talk about it. We talk a lot about the Alpha Reset, which helps men get unstuck, get clear, and put down baggage they've been carrying for decades in just a matter of days. And we've got The Brotherhood, obviously, which is just that it's a brotherhood where guys are in there for a year.

But I don't recall sharing much about the Inner Circle over the years on this podcast. Fortunately, Arthur and Doug and I have the pleasure of getting to work with the guys in the IC. I love working with the guys in The Brotherhood too, and all the guys in the movement. It's just that we most closely work with the guys in the IC.

How would you describe the IC? Obviously, you're in it. How would you describe it?

Gift 2:28
I would just say next level in so many ways. There's an accountability piece you can't hide from. Whether it's accountability to the coaches, where you hold us accountable, or accountability to the brothers both of them come into play. You can't hide.

If I miss a call, someone says, "Hey, where were you today?" It's interesting. In The Brotherhood, you can get lost. You can go off and maybe show up, maybe not. No one's babysitting you. No one's babysitting us in the Inner Circle either, but you're playing at another level where you want to show up, and the guys you're with are just on the next level.

It's constantly leveling yourself up. We have such an amazing group of men. Then, obviously, dealing with the best coaches. I mean, all amazing coaches, but it's just... I don't know. The monthly reviews, the quarterly reviews, the pushing, the visions they're totally beyond what you've ever done in the Brotherhood.

You're digging deeper and finding more, and then the accountability of it. I get so much value just out of being with the brothers in the IC. They're just amazing. There are guys who've done the work and done the work for a longer period of time. Not everyone, but most of them have, right? And you're just surrounding yourself with greatness.

Tim Matthews 2:38
Most of the guys in the Inner Circle have been in the movement for at least a year. There's only one guy I can think of that came into the IC without being in The Brotherhood first maybe two, in fact.

What I like about that is, to your point, Andrew, the guys have done the work. They've got a good foundation, a good baseline. They're hungry. They're committed to a level of growth.

Obviously, the investment is significantly more than the Brotherhood not just in terms of money, but... well, I'll say money. I don't want to say the investment of time is more than the Brotherhood, but I think the focus of that time is different than the focus of the time in the Brotherhood. Ultimately, you get what you focus on, right?

If you're in a group of men surrounded by high-level conversations be it business, health, or all five territories invariably you're going to rise to it. That's what I love about it as well.

So many guys come in feeling like an imposter because of the greatness that exists and the standard that the men operate at. Nobody is an imposter, but I love that they feel that because it just reflects back the standard of the men.

Gift 3:03
I remember feeling that myself coming in, like, "Man, do I belong here? I don't think I'm good enough for these guys."

Initially, you feel that way. Then you start digging in and you're like, "Oh no, I'm one of them." And they actually get benefit from me being here too.

It's such a crazy dynamic. The hot seats are an opportunity for people to call each other out not call each other out, but probe and ask those questions. We know each other so well. It's a very intimate group, and that dynamic is what's going to push you further and further and further.

You're not getting any softballs. This is real-time, and you're dealing with players.

Tim Matthews 3:39
For sure. There's high expectations.

Gift 3:39
Everyone's got different experiences. I mean, that goes into the Brotherhood too, but it's just a bigger game. It's the major leagues, you know?

Tim Matthews 3:39
Oh, for sure. What are you thinking?

Arthur 4:28
I mean, there's power in surrounding yourself with these high-level individuals who are really committed, really willing to go deep and do the work. There's loads of experience out there, whether it's business, relationships, personal growth, or self-development.

It's an amazing combination, a powerful combination. It's like that expression goes: one plus one doesn't equal two. Here, it's eleven. Because when these brilliant minds come together with all the experience they have, what comes out of that is sometimes just astonishing.

Gift 5:14
It really is.

Tim Matthews 3:14
I love the honesty and the openness as well. The men refuse to let one another settle. I love that. I love that.

And then the in-person hot seats at the events and the IC days. Not only do I love that we get to do these unique experiences, but there are so many unique experiences that I've done on the IC trips that I never knew were bucket-list things until I'd done them.

I'm like, "Wow, holy crap. That was incredible."

So many of them. Cuba... you’d have loved it. Those days in Cuba when we went out on the boat and the guy swam down and caught the lobsters, and we just ate them fresh right there, literally being caught while we sat around doing hot seats on the boat. It's just what dreams are made of, at least for me.

Surrounded by incredible men. Zero ego. Despite these guys being very successful in various ways and not just financially, but across the board they're very successful, yet there's no ego there. They're not measuring each other up. They sincerely want the best for each other. They come from a complete place of abundance, and they're unwilling to let one another settle.

They hold each other accountable, whether it's having an honest conversation, raising the bar, or whatever it may be. They support each other in business, helping one another do deals, supporting each other to exit companies. The level of support they give each other with raising their kids I love that as well.

And when we do these quarterly reviews every quarter, nine times out of ten, all the guys are having the best quarter they've ever had across the board. It just gets better and better and better.

The energy that exists within the group when they're saying, "Oh my God, I've just had the best year of my life. Last year I said that, this year I'm saying that." The inspiration and the energy are just incredible. It's rare. It's incredibly rare.

Doug Holt 9:13
Hey guys, I just want to share something with you. I'm sure we can both agree that in order to fix something, you need to know what's broken. Not only do you need to know what's broken, but you need a step-by-step methodology on how you can fix it. That's the easiest way to do it, right? Otherwise, you're going to be toiling with things.

That's why I created a free training, a training that shows you how you got to where you are where your relationship is missing that love, respect, admiration, and even intimacy that it used to have and how you get it back.

How do you retain that place where your wife is looking at you the same way she used to look at you when she said, "I do"?

I don't know about you, but for me, when my wife looks at me like I'm her man, that feels like I can conquer the world. And I want that for you.

Simply go over to thepowerfulman.com/scales. That's thepowerfulman.com/scales.

I have a free video training for you. You can just click play and see if this resonates with you.

Now, back to the podcast.

Arthur 10:15
Initially, you think, "Oh, Inner Circle, you've got three coaches." But you don't. You have like thirteen coaches because every guy in there is a coach, right? Every guy has so much experience that he can bring to bear.

The other thing is and you mentioned it the guys are so willing to give back. I think that comes from the abundance mentality. They've got no qualms about saying, "Give me a call. I'll tell you how to do that deal."

With no expectations, just to contribute and give back.

I mean, you guys are here giving back, and I think that's part of the whole equation. It's like one tight family all supporting each other.

Gift 10:54
It's definitely important the energy of it, of guys being cohesive and getting along.

In a sense, you could put someone in who maybe hadn't really done the work as much, and it might throw everything off. I don't know, maybe they would rise to the occasion, but...

And then there's the time. You mentioned the monetary part of it, and there is a time piece to it because there are more trips, right? And that's fine.

But the interesting thing about time is we're doing it because we want to do it. You have an IC event, and we're showing up early to hang out with each other, to do something else before it. Fortunately, not everyone, but many of us are flexible enough to be able to do that.

It just makes memories. These guys are really good friends of yours. In a very short period of time, you have that bond.

It's awesome.

Just like when you go to a Reset, you become pretty tight with the guys you went through your Reset with because you know so much about each other. Well, this is that on another level.

It's sharing your wins together. It's amazing.

Even as much as I hate Voxer, seeing people's wins once in a while is like, "Wow." It just makes you feel good. Like, "That guy's killing it. That's great."

Tim Matthews 12:10
I've never found a place like it.

Arthur 12:17
Because most mastermind groups out there are purely based on business, right? Different individuals in that environment may or may not have done the work.

So there's a lot of other stuff at play there.

We just get down to business. There's nothing blocking the business, the personal development, or doing the work because everyone has done the work, is at a certain level, and can offer.

Nobody is only there to take, and that's key. That's key.

Not just anyone can get into the Inner Circle. You've got to be able to contribute to the Inner Circle, right?

Because of that, the Inner Circle keeps getting better and better.

Gift 12:59
And you have to be able to receive too, right? I mean, otherwise, boom.

Arthur 13:03
Exactly, exactly. Love that.

Tim Matthews 13:07
I think it's an important point to make, right? Because these guys are running, typically, businesses that are turning over tens of millions in revenue. A couple of the guys, I think, are in the hundreds. Yet the guys choose to invest this time, money, energy, and all that fun stuff.

And when they say they're having the best year of their life, I'm talking across the board, right? I know you guys know this. I'm just thinking about someone listening to this who's probably thinking, "Well, that's great, but I've got to sacrifice my professional growth for my personal growth. Does it mean I lose my drive? Does it mean I'll lose my edge? What does that mean?"

And these guys are significantly growing their businesses. Think about Iron Man now, the transition he's been through over the past few years with his sales team and having to step into the Sales Director seat, and now where the company is, alongside everything he's got going on personally, and how the guys have supported him. That's incredible.

One of the hardest times in his professional career has seen him soar.

Gift 14:24
Well, it makes me think about growth. I did my one-year vision with you, and maybe it started in September of last year, but I really didn't finish it until October-ish because we were in Prague.

Then I finished it before February. It was less than five months. It was four and a half months. And I did a one-year vision.

You had said, "Oh, you're going to get this done." And then when I got it done, I said, "Did I play small?" And you said, "No, you didn't play small."

I couldn't imagine that I got it done in that period of time.

The reason why is because you're sharing your vision with the other guys, and they hold you accountable in different ways. I remember one week I think it was you you called me out. I said something about the work, and you're like, "Didn't you talk about this? How come this isn't done already?"

And I was like... that little prod of, "You're not doing what you said you're going to do," right?

Tim Matthews 15:15
So, for somebody listening to this who's curious about the Inner Circle, what advice would you give them?

Arthur 15:23
You've got to surround yourself with the people who will take you to that next level, right? And those people must be committed. You've got to be committed.

I'm going to expand on this. Every guy that's come into the Inner Circle has walked away with amazing value. We've heard the "10x" statement. Guys are re-upping year after year. We've had guys in there for four years.

There's a reason for that. It gets results.

So take the plunge. If you feel you can operate at a high level, are committed to your growth, and committed to helping other people, then check it out because you will get the results and a return on your investment like nothing else.

Gift 16:12
I would say it's a gift to yourself.

Do something that's going to bring you to the next level. We're all here. We're all working forward on our journey, right? This is just that next level that's going to push you.

For me, maybe I was going up like this, and then suddenly I was like, "Whoa. How did that just happen?" And it happened in a very short period of time.

I didn't tell you this yet, but I signed on and said I was committed for a year, but I'm not leaving after a year. I made that decision a while ago. I was like, "Yep, I'm staying here."

I think everyone owes it to themselves. But you have to be ready for it too, at the right time. When that time comes, it is the next level.

People can grow anywhere, but this is going to accelerate it.

Tim Matthews 17:02
We're very protective about the group, and transparently, we have invited men to leave over the years because it just wasn't the right time, the right fit, or whatever it may be.

At the time of listening to this, I don't know whether we'll have spaces open or not. It's a very small group of very high-level men.

But if somebody is listening to this and you are curious to find out more, email VIP@thepowerfulman.com. That's VIP@thepowerfulman.com.

Just type "Inner Circle" in the email, and one of the team will get back to you and let you know whether there is space or not. If there is, they'll let you know the application process, and you can go from there and see if it's for you.

Gift 17:44
You know, Tim, on that point, I will say that if you do get asked, take advantage of it because you may not get the opportunity again.

If there's an opening and that slot fills, you don't know when the next opportunity is coming. So I would strongly suggest that you just take that action and take the plunge if it happens.

Tim Matthews 18:05
So, guys, as we always say, in the moment of insight, take massive action.

We'll see you next time on The Powerful Man Show.
